Cody Moberg, BA, MFT Intern

CLINICAL INTERN

Cody was raised in San Diego, California, and has moved with his wife to Bellevue, Washington to pursue his masters in marriage and family therapy at Seattle Pacific University.  He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from California Baptist University in Riverside, California, and has spent much of his time studying Christian Behavioral Sciences from the same school. He is passionate about leading individuals, couples, and families to healing and resilience.

Cody is particularly interested in using community as a healing instrument in the therapeutic process and is particularly interested in serving those recovering from trauma and crisis. He approaches counseling with a perspective that “you’re not okay, he’s not okay, and that’s okay,” creating an environment where a client can bring an authentic piece of themselves to the relationship without fear of rejection or judgment.

Cody is quite involved with his Church, and he values the benefit that spirituality and community can have in the life of an individual. He has experience in churches, prisons, research, and other clinical counseling environments.

Cody Moberg is a bachelor-level clinician and marriage and family therapy intern at Seattle Pacific University. He is supervised by Laura Wallace, PhD, LMFT.
