A Note from CHRISTEL:

Welcome to Twin Lakes Counseling!
I'm so glad you are here.

I believe that people have an innate strength and resiliency to cope with and overcome any challenge.  Being able to talk through challenges, gain productive insight, and learn effective tools can create valuable change.

I enjoy working with couples, individuals, and families.  My goal as a therapist is to create a welcoming space so that you feel comfortable as we endeavor in this process of growth and healing.  I also enjoy working with children.  I use play therapy in my work with children.  A child‘s way of communicating is different from adult communication, and therefore, play is used to assist children in processing emotions, and learning new skills.  Play therapy is an effective approach for children and teenagers.

I will work alongside you to help create the life you imagine!
