While serving in the military, Amanda uncovered a talent and desire for helping people as she was exposed to a vast array of life stressors in those serving around her. She followed this calling and now specializes in working with struggling veterans, those going through life transitions, and women issues. She is also passionate about working with autism, anxiety, self-esteem, conflict resolution, and relationship issues. Amanda desires to work with anyone ready to start or continue “the work” of personal growth and change. She is ready with a warm and accepting environment to help you heal and empower you to make better decisions aligned with the life that you are trying to build.

Andi works with people across various demographics, including older adults, teenagers, members of the queer community, and veterans – a group particularly close to their heart. Areas of interest encompass a wide variety of mental health concerns including trauma, grief, chronic and terminal illnesses, depression, anxiety, neurodivergence (including autism and ADHD), and the unique challenges faced by individuals in the LGBTQ+ community. Andi takes an integrated eclectic approach incorporating strength-based and solution-focused modalities while drawing from Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy (REBT) and foundations of existential philosophies.

Angelica aims to provide culturally-aligned and trauma-informed care through a social justice framework that allows her clients to feel understood, safe, hopeful, and empowered. She is equipped to help unpack how clients experience the weight of social injustice, systemic racism, or intergenerational trauma. Utilizing client-centered, evidence and strength-based, narrative, and trauma-informed practices, Angelica guides her clients not just to alleviate symptoms but to create self-care routines and coping skills habitually, which allows them to sustain meaningful lives.

Annarose believes that everyone deserves access to support for health and wellbeing through the provision of comprehensive and culturally competent services. She comes to the counseling profession after many years working in the field of social and health services. Her experience includes work in crisis response, domestic violence, food justice, legal system, and supportive housing environments. She looks forward to working with those across the spectrum of identity intersection, and is especially interested in working with clients experiencing anxiety, life transitions, trauma, stress, self-esteem and relational issues.

She values the importance of learning about what makes you you while also tapping into systemic theory to dive deeper into patterns in your story. Arielle aims to create a space of equity and encourages feedback to ensure she meets you where you are at.

Christian Chan is earning a Masters in Couples and Family Therapy from Seattle University. Christian has training experiences in individual, family, and group counseling, and has previously worked with the Neurodiverse community and preschool age children. Christian is an intern at Twin Lakes Counseling and provides individual, couples, and family therapy. The primary counseling techniques Christian uses with clients include mindfulness practices, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Structural Family Therapy.

Having spent her life in the in-between of two different cultures, Devrim understands the feeling of “other” and “not enough” that many people may experience due to an ever-evolving and complex society. After taking a sociology class during her undergraduate work, she gained an affinity for studying how people will group, connect, and distinguish themselves. Her career thus far has consisted of community service roles, focusing on advocacy and the arts. With over 20+ years in service and having the privilege of traveling extensively, her dedication to her communities has only strengthened. Today she is excited to be pursuing a graduate degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Antioch University in Seattle, WA.

Edmond has experience providing individual, family, and group therapy, helping clients with anxiety, depression, trauma, ADHD, and addiction. He uses a variety of counseling techniques, including Solution Focused Therapy (SFT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing, Parent-Child Interaction Therapy, and Narrative Therapy. Edmond has experience providing therapy since 2020, including outpatient mental health counseling (in-person and telehealth), community outreach, case management, and collaborating with his clients other health care providers to best serve them.

Elena aims to support her clients and embraces a systemic perspective, meaning that she approaches all problems and solutions while considering relational, cultural, and environmental contexts. Elena has consistently received feedback that she is compassionate, attentive, and gently directive. Sharayah knows that life can bring hurtful and overwhelming experiences. It is natural for our bodies to disengage in these moments particularly if we do not feel we have the resources or support needed to move forward. Chronic stress and burnout are very in our world today, but they are not personal failures; rather, they can represent our bodies' attempts to protect us, and learning about and practicing self-compassion can offer real help. No matter who she is working with, Sharayah wants to help individuals to feel well-connected and more like themselves by building things into their lives that sustain, fuel, and give back. Her holistic, individualized, and open approach to therapy helps individuals develop new ways of relating and interacting with their worlds, other people, and themselves.

Trisha Leonard is a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) who specializes in providing acute care for those experiencing a behavioral health crisis. She has primarily worked in hospital settings, in both emergency departments and inpatient units. Trisha is experienced with Motivational Interviewing, brief therapeutic interventions via Dialectical Behavioral and Cognitive Behavioral techniques, as well as mindfulness practices and guided meditations. As part of her work in acute/crisis management, she has served people of all ages, and demographics, and has experience working with a wide array of behavioral health conditions. Additionally, she has experience working with people navigating co-occurring behavioral health and substance use disorders.

Karin brings to clients the opportunity to explore whether or not incorporating medication would be helpful in their therapeutic journey. She works with clients as a teammate and enjoys working on the best care plan possible for each of her clients. She believes that when those involved in the client's care plan come together as a team - the client, providers, and those close to the client - life-changing and long-lasting results can be achieved.

Karin deeply enjoys providing care to all clients seeking her help and specializes in care across the lifespan whether it be a 3-year-old child with ADHD or a 103-year-old adult suffering from depression. She also specializes in LGBTQ health, gender-affirming treatments, family- and systems-based interventions, trauma-informed care, multimodal treatments (pharmacotherapy + psychotherapy), and interdisciplinary collaborative care.

Laura grew up in Federal Way, Washington. Her whole life, she found herself in new places, amidst new cultures, surrounded by new people. Each had stories unique to themselves, and through these experiences, she cultivated her passion for learning, growing, and exploring. Since graduating from Southern Connecticut State University in 2010, she has been working with individuals and families as a marriage and family therapist to discover freedom and resolution in the midst of struggles. Now, with her cross-cultural expertise, a deeply personal understanding of spirituality, and years of experience as a community-based researcher, Laura not only gets to do what she loves as a therapist, she also gets to build her dream team of incredible therapists. Together, they are able to reach further than she ever could alone and serve even more people in her home town.
