Let's Begin

It is quick and easy to be added to our scheduling queue!

When you fill out this form with all the necessary information, our Client Care Coordinator will contact you within 48 hours to discuss next steps and perhaps ask some clarifying questions to get you scheduled with the best therapist for you as soon as possible.

Please be aware that our clinicians have very full schedules, so the amount of time it takes to schedule a first visit varies. It is possible that it may take upwards of 2-3 weeks. However, your care is very important to us which is why our scheduling team works every day to find you those available slots. Your patience is appreciated!

(PS In addition to being in-network with some insurances, Twin Lakes Counseling also provides superbills for you to submit for out-of-network benefits. Ask our helpful office staff to provide you with information about and questions to ask your insurance company to determine whether this is an option for you!)

Scheduling FAQs

Do you take insurance?

Yes! While all of our clinicians accept out-of-pocket payments, some clinicians at Twin Lakes Counseling are also in-network with the following insurances:

  • First Choice
  • LifeWise
  • Premera
  • Kaiser PPO (not HMO)
  • Optum / United HealthCare / UMR
  • Medicaid (including Apple Health)

For a great discussion of how and why to use out-of-network benefits, check out this blog post by Maggie Jordan of Zencare!

How much does therapy cost?

Individual, couple, and family sessions are billed at the following rate and apply to a standard 50-minute session whether in-person, online, or over the phone:

  • $180 for PhD-level Therapists
  • $140 for fully licensed masters-level therapists
  • $120 for masters-level therapists (supervised)
  • $80 for bachelors-level therapists (supervised)

Longer sessions are available and are billed at the same rate (1 hr 15 min = 1.5 times the rate, etc). However, keep in mind that insurance rarely covers longer sessions, so you will be responsible for the additional cost if you are using insurance.
