Clinical Supervisor
Pronouns: She/Her
Megan's personal experiences with loss and grief have profoundly shaped her journey in this field. The impact of her childhood family therapist—who served as a comforting and often lighthearted presence during those tough years—was instrumental in shaping her identity as both a therapist and a supervisor. This drives her commitment to fostering meaningful therapeutic relationships and creating a supportive environment for growth where beauty and hope can be cultivated.
Megan attended Seattle Pacific University and earned her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and a Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy with a certificate in Medical Family Therapy. Before coming to Twin Lakes, Megan spent over a decade working with families and individuals impacted by intimate partner violence and training new therapists in working with relational trauma. Megan, who identifies as queer, is committed to providing a safe, affirming space for clients to bring their whole selves.
Megan sees children, individuals, and families across the lifespan and is especially passionate about supporting folks navigating grief and loss, relational trauma, identity exploration, anxiety, depression, life transitions, and relationship distress. She is particularly energized by working with LGBTQ+ individuals and their families, blended and chosen families, and those who are seeking to live more fully into their authentic selves. Megan draws from a variety of trauma-informed and relational approaches, including EMDR, CPT, narrative therapy, and emotionally focused work. She has loved trainings that deepen her understanding of attachment, systemic dynamics, and the ways our stories are shaped by culture, trauma, and resilience. Her clinical approach is collaborative, integrative, and grounded in honoring the whole person—recognizing that healing often happens within safe, connected relationships.
In sessions, clients can expect Megan to offer a warm, steady, and attuned presence. She shows up with a spirit of curiosity and accountability, allowing space for clients to explore at their own pace while gently guiding when needed. Her work is both present- and past-focused, holistic, and deeply relational. Megan believes in walking alongside her clients through the messy and meaningful parts of life, helping them discover who they are and who they are becoming. Humor often has a place in her work—she believes laughter can be a powerful way to reconnect, release, and remember our humanness. Whether she is acting as a witness, a guide, or a reflective mirror, Megan’s aim is to empower clients with clarity, self-compassion, and tools to step more fully into their lives. Her hope is that both clients and the therapists she supervises leave sessions feeling seen, supported, and connected to their own wisdom and strength.
