A Note from Dr. Laura Wallace:

Welcome to Twin Lakes Counseling!
I'm so glad you are here.

I have been practicing marriage and family therapy for almost a decade and am truly passionate about the work I do. I have gathered a team of the best therapists around, and if you'll let us, we would love to explore how to use our expertise and your experience to make lasting and powerful change.

I look forward to hearing from you and seeing where our work together takes us!

Holly Coe, LMHCA

MENTAL HEALTH COUNSELOR
Pronouns: She/Her

Holly experienced the benefits of counseling at a young age after her family was uprooted from their home in California due to the Northridge earthquake. Her lunch time visits to her school counselor were a source of encouragement and helped her cope with the transition. This experience planted the idea of becoming a clinician one day and over time that idea grew. Holly earned her bachelor's degree in English from Saint Martin's University, and the entire time she was in school, she felt her calling to become a clinician grow. She decided it was time to actualize her dream, so she went on to obtain her Masters in Counseling, also from Saint Martin's University, and has never looked back.

Holly has deeply enjoyed actively working with clients to help them see that transformation and healing is possible. She is particularly interested in working with individuals and couples experiencing life transitions, Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), Complex-PTSD, anxiety, depression, and trauma. Holly is also an advocate of the LGBTQ community, is experienced in supporting single parents on their journey, and values being able to serve the military and first responder communities.

Holly's approach to therapy is informed by evidence-based practices utilizing a variety of therapeutic modalities to serve the specific needs of the client. She most often uses modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Attachment-Based Therapy, Gestalt Therapy, Psychodynamic Therapy, and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy. She is also happy to integrate Christian Counseling into therapy for clients who request it.

Holly views her clients as whole and complex individuals who have immense potential for growth, change, and healing. Whether experiencing a brief, but particularly difficult season of life due to a specific life event or transition, or needing support coping with a chronic symptom that has made daily life challenging for a long time, Holly provides her clients with an authentic, non-judgmental, direct, and nurturing demeanor as she works with them to move towards their goals. She is there to help identify strengths and gifts that already exist and work with you to help reduce troubling symptoms and patterns that you would like to see change in order to move closer to the life you envision for yourself.

Holly is a licensed mental health counselor associate in the state of Washington (MC61065010). She is supervised by Dr. Laura Wallace, PhD, LMFT (LF60750759; NPI # 1659515013).
