Holly has known since middle school that being a counselor was a career possibility due to her passion for supporting and connecting with others on a deeper level during times of hardship. Holly earned her bachelor's degree in English from Saint Martin's University, and the entire time she was in school, she felt her calling to become a clinician grow. She decided it was time to actualize her dream, so she went on to obtain her Masters in Counseling, also from Saint Martin's University, and has never looked back. Holly enjoys actively working with clients to help them see that transformation and healing is possible. She is particularly interested in working with individuals and couples experiencing life transitions, Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), Complex-PTSD, anxiety and depression. Holly is experienced in supporting single parents on their journey, clergy, and values being able to serve the military and first responder communities.
Holly enjoys actively working with clients to help them see that transformation and healing is possible. She is particularly interested in working with individuals and couples experiencing life transitions, anxiety, depression and trauma symptoms. She is experienced and values supporting clients who are parents and those working in the helping professions. Holly views her clients as having many strengths before starting therapy while also having immense potential for growth, change, and healing.
Holly most often uses modalities such as cognitive-behavioral therapy, narrative therapy, interpersonal psychotherapy, psychoanalytic therapy and solution-focused therapy. She is happy to integrate Christian Counseling into therapy for clients who request it.
