MENTAL HEALTH COUNSELOR ASSOCIATE
Pronouns: She/Her
From an early age, I developed a deep curiosity about how close relationships are shaped, how they are negotiated, strengthened, and sustained over time. I found myself naturally drawn to the ways people connect, communicate, and make sense of one another, especially in moments of tension, transition, and growth. When I left for college, that curiosity found a clear direction. My first psychology course ignited a passion I hadn’t yet put into words, revealing counseling as the path where my empathy, insight, and desire to support others could come together with purpose.
I specialize in working with adults, parents, and couples navigating trauma, anxiety, depression, parenting stress, relationship challenges, and major life transitions. I have a special passion for supporting mothers who may be carrying the mental and emotional weight of balancing multiple roles while also trying to care for themselves. I also enjoy helping couples strengthen communication, repair emotional disconnection, and better understand the patterns that keep them feeling stuck. My approach is especially supportive for clients who feel overwhelmed, emotionally exhausted, disconnected in their relationships, or impacted by past experiences that continue to affect the present.
My therapeutic style is grounded in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Emotion Focused Therapy (EFT), and Narrative Therapy. I use DBT to help clients build practical skills for emotional regulation, distress tolerance, mindfulness, and healthier interpersonal boundaries. Through an Emotion Focused lens, I support clients in understanding the deeper emotions and attachment needs that may be shaping their experiences, relationships, and conflict patterns. Narrative Therapy allows space for clients to explore the stories they carry about themselves, their relationships, and their past, while helping them reconnect with strengths, values, and new possibilities for healing. Clients often describe feeling emotionally safe, deeply heard, and gently challenged toward meaningful growth.
I provide counseling services for individual adults, couples, and parents, and I offer both in-person and telehealth sessions. I am especially passionate about working with mothers, couples, and adults healing from trauma or navigating identity shifts during major life changes.
I earned my Bachelor of Science in Psychology and my Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling with an Emphasis in Marriage and Family Therapy, both from Grand Canyon University in Phoenix, AZ. My academic training, combined with hands-on clinical experience, has shaped my trauma-informed, relational approach to therapy. I began providing counseling services in 2025, and my work has continued to deepen my belief in the resilience people carry, even in the midst of hardship.
I believe therapy is a powerful space for healing, self-discovery, and transformation. My passion is helping clients feel less alone in their struggles while building the insight, tools, and confidence needed to create meaningful and lasting change.
Outside of the counseling room, I enjoy spending time with my friends and family, being outdoors, and finding moments of rest and connection in the midst of everyday life. These experiences continue to ground me in the importance of balance, presence, and compassion.
