PRACTICE MANAGER
CLINICAL SUPERVISOR
Pronouns: She/Her
Kyle has always been curious about people and relationships. Growing up in a family with both love and emotional complexity, she spent much of her young life exploring the “why” behind human behavior. Discovering later that she is neurodiverse (AuDHD) helped her understand her own story. Today, she supports those who feel disconnected or misunderstood, helping them navigate a world not built for them. Her early relationship with her aunt, a psychotherapist, showed her the power of healing in connection. Over time, many relationships, both challenging and nurturing, have shaped her understanding of growth and resilience. She strives to create a space where clients can reflect, explore, and recognize the strengths that help(ed) them survive. She believes healing happens when we can bring our full selves into the room, and endeavors to approach each relationship with cultural humility, honoring how identity and power influence that process. Her hope is that clients leave empowered to define what healing looks like for themselves, knowing they already have what they need even if support, new skills, or life changes are part of the journey.
Kyle earned her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of Washington and a Master’s degree in Couples and Family Therapy from Seattle University. She has worked in both private and group practice settings and returned to Twin Lakes Counseling for its community and commitment to accessible, relational care. Her clinical work is attachment-based and systemic, drawing primarily from Internal Family Systems (IFS) and Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), along with solution-focused and narrative approaches. She also incorporates grounding and core belief work informed by EMDR training.
Kyle is especially passionate about supporting neurodiverse individuals and couples, and anyone who has experienced grief, loss, or felt “othered” or out of step with cultural expectations. Her approach is collaborative, compassionate, and real- often infused with humor, curiosity, and permission to be fully human. As a Washington State approved supervisor and AAMFT Approved Supervisor Candidate, Kyle offers strengths-based, systemic, and culturally responsive supervision, helping new therapists grow with curiosity, confidence, and self-compassion.
