Christian is a BIPOC licensed couples and family therapist associate who has experienced the transformative power of therapy firsthand. Through his personal journey of trying to better understand the nuances of his own emotions and having grappled with his own mental health challenges, Christian is driven to extend a helping hand to others facing similar struggles. His passion lies in delving deeper into the human psyche, recognizing that each person is a complex interweaving of emotions and experiences. Christian embraces the influence of one’s culture on their mental health; through this multicultural lens, he works to foster curiosity and compassion for the shared human experience of understanding our own unique paths.
Christian completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Washington, where he majored in psychology, medical anthropology, and biological anthropology. He also holds a Master of Arts in Couples and Family Therapy from Seattle University. Christian serves individuals, couples, and families suffering from a variety of mental health concerns including but not limited to, anxiety, depression, challenging family dynamics, conflict within relationships, and interpersonal difficulties. Christian takes on an eclectic approach, utilizing treatment modalities such as family systems theory, strategic therapy, and Emotionally Focused Therapy..
