Jordann is passionate about community engagement and has always been fascinated by the brain, behavior, and philosophy. This curiosity and passion led her to earn her Bachelor of Science Degree in Psychology from the University of Idaho and a Master of Social Work from Boise State University. With ten years of experience in social services, much of that time spent at a community mental health nonprofit, Jordann has gained experience providing therapy, case management, coaching, coordination, teaching, outreach, and supervision. She has worked with diverse populations in both individual and group settings.
Jordann provides therapy to individuals across a variety of ages and backgrounds. She works with clients navigating a wide range of mental health concerns such as anxiety, depression, trauma, grief and loss, relationship distress, life transitions, and existential questions related to purpose and identity. Jordann also works with individuals living with neurodivergence, such as ADHD. Jordann’s therapeutic approach is client-centered, holistic, strengths-based, collaborative and trauma-informed. By blending techniques from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), parts work, Solution Focused Therapy (SFT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), her approach is adaptable and tailored to meet the unique needs of each client.
Jordann walks alongside clients with compassion, non-judgment, and curiosity, meeting individuals where they are. Her goal is to create a safe and supportive space where individuals can explore their emotions and feel heard and empowered. She also brings an appropriate amount of humor into her work, using it as a tool to help others feel at ease and foster connection in the process of healing. Jordann believes in the importance of building trust and moving at a pace that feels comfortable for each person.
