Clinical Intern
Pronouns: She/Her
Maggie believes every person deserves an opportunity to heal, and knows that many people suffer quietly. Some individuals are wary of providers or seeking care; for Maggie, it is essential to create a space where every individual can feel safe and heard. Maggie received her Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from the University of California, San Diego in 2022, and will receive her Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Seattle University in 2025.
Maggie collaborates with clients to identify the struggles they are facing and develop a treatment plan centered around the client’s unique needs and circumstances. She is transparent about her work and remains open-minded when planning treatment. As a provider, Maggie gravitates towards emotionally focused techniques as well as Dialectical Behavioral Therapy skills for coping with stress, anxiety, and tensions within the body. Her end goal is to assist the client in establishing a satisfying quality of life and equip them with tools and skills that can be used to cope both presently and when future struggles arise. She is particularly interested in working with individuals who experience depression, anxiety, ADHD, and mania.
Maggie is a bachelor's-level mental health counseling intern at Twin Lakes Counseling. She is supervised by Cherie McKale, LMHC (NPI 1528620010, License LH61317695).
