Payal believes deeply in the resilience of the human spirit. She is committed to creating a safe and supportive environment for clients to identify and utilize their strengths. She uses a holistic, person-centered approach, empowering individuals and families to generate creative and personalized solutions for the makeup of their own lives.
Payal was born and raised in India and received an undergraduate degree in economics and accounting before moving to the United States. Her life prior to pursuing mental health training consisted of many valuable experiences, including receiving a cancer diagnosis and treatment. Today she is passionate about helping others sort through pain, live out of their values, and foster healthy relationships. Payal is currently completing her Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Northwest University in Kirkland, WA (expected to graduate May 2025).
She works with a variety of mental health concerns including depression, anxiety, interpersonal partner violence, complex trauma, transition to adulthood, and families experiencing divorce. Payal sources interventions from many therapeutic models to fit the unique needs of the client system. She often finds herself drawn to Narrative Therapy, trauma-informed techniques, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. With a certificate in Youth Mental Health, crisis intervention training, and current pursuits in Gottman training, Payal brings a diverse set of skills to the therapeutic space.
